Fees

The house administrator directs the activities at Guadalupe Vita Dei House. While you are responsible for cooking your own food, you are invited to share meal times with other residents. While you will be spending much of your prayer time one-on-one with the Lord, you are invited to share community prayer times with your brothers. While much of your free time will be planned by you, some will be shared with your fellow residents.

 

The following is the mandatory attendance requirement.   The house administrator will work out a schedule that enables all the house residents to attend. 

 

1 community meal per week

1 community prayer times per week (Liturgy of the Hours_

1 weekly house meeting 

1 weekly formation meeting (movie, talk, Scripture study, book discussion)

You may eat as many meals as you like with some or all of your brothers in the house. 

Evening Prayer is generally prayed in Guadalupe House Chapel at 5 pm and you are welcome to attend. 

The brothers also plan some recreation times which you are invited to attend if you wish.

You will have house chores to do, arranged with the house parent and your brothers.

Program fees are $500 per month. These can be reduced as follows:

 

Volunteer five hours per week in Catholic Ministry for the Confraternity of Penitents and your fees are reduced to $250 monthly.

 

Volunteer ten hours per week in Catholic Ministry for the Confraternity of Penitents and your fees are reduced to $0 monthly.

Volunteer Hours will primarily be in property care, Mary's Glen (see www.MarysGlen.com) and the Confraternity of Penitents Holy Angels Gift Shop (see www.cfpholyangels.com)
