Chapel in Memoriam

Chapel is dedicated to Dom Julian Stead, OSB, 2nd Visitor (Spiritual Guardian) to the Confraternity of Penitents

Fr_JBike.avif
Broderick.avif

Chapel houses the religious habit of Father John Broderick, who had been a Greymoor Franciscan priest. Fr. Broderick died on the same day and at the same time as Saint Teresa of Calcutta. The Vita Dei Houses use his habit in celebrating the Transitus of Saint Francis on October 3.

Entrance to the Chapel is via Br. Peter's Parlor. Br. Peter was in religious life until his Order was discontinued. As a lay man, he wished to enter Guadalupe Vita Dei House but died of COVID before the house opened.
